A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“Winter stay review We enjoyed our time at the Somewhere Inn. The rooms are exactly as pictured - very spacious and modern. The day bed was a particular fave and we appreciated the Nespresso machine. All the staff we interacted with were very nice! I think it would be best enjoyed in the summer - the motel being across from the water would be delightful, but in the winter there’s not much to do. I had expected to hang out in the wine bar but it’s a tiny space which doubles as a lobby and tuck shop, and closes at 6pm. There are 6 seats and 3 of them are on the counter where folks pay. For the price, it felt expensive - it is a very nice room with nice touches but amenities are limited. The walls are paper thin - I was woken up a few times by our neighbours talking at a normal volume. There’s no staff on site after 6pm, so you can’t take advantage of the wine bar space or (limited) food offering . There is a lounge area but it is in the basement behind the motel. The cold plunge was in the basement which was awkward as the sauna was outside. The marketing is stunning and it creates expectations that aren’t quite executed on, but overall we enjoyed our stay.”
“If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars. What a lovely gem to find in the area. Rooms are clean, and very basic. (No tv) Which we absolutely loved. We got two mugs with vodkow (vodka vanilla creamer) to commemorate our stay, also because it was our anniversary, they gave us a personal note, calabogie sticker and two chocolate bars, so thoughtful. They communicated during our stay via text message and gave us our door codes (no key cards to lose, yay!) Our first night there we slept for 10 hours (I usually only get 4-6 at home.) which speaks volumes on the comfort of the bed and the relaxing atmosphere. We indulged in their onsite cold plunge, which was far more extreme than we thought it would be, but how we feel afterwards was blissful. They had bonfires every night, which was a romantic and nice way to end our days. We had a king soaker tub in our room, with complimentary bath salts. They staff were absolutely lovely, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. It's marked as a permanent favorite for the foreseeable future for us. Thank you to the Somewhere Inn team for making our experience one we will remember and most definitely will repeat!”
“We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Communication was excellent. Just text & you get a response right away. I would suggest a microwave either in each room or in the lounge for all guests to use. A hot tub would make this place even better.”
